Hey, this may be an odd question, but can we get a version of this with the page numbers on alternating sides of the page? This would facilitate searching through the rules when they are printed as a booklet and stapled together or otherwise bound.
I'll admit this is a bit of a niche situation, but it would still be helpful.
Is it just me or does the Hivemind seem to be in a class of its own when compared to the other monstrosities? As its arguably the tankiest of the three, it could theoretically end a game when it enters with mind crush, it also having the best to hit rating and the mind control is extremely powerful by itself.... as its limiting the actions the players have at best to at worst losing a unit and miss a round.
Anyways, super neat I've been looking for more Co-op games like this ^^.
Yeah, the Hivemind can be pretty oppressive. Of the three monstrosities, it's the one that requires the most teamwork to counter. It does have some weaknesses - a Light Machine Gun firing at it from behind heavy cover will usually ruin its day, for example. But I'm happy to nerf it if enough players find it problematic.
Hi! I have bene watching some people play this on youtube and this is an amazing game. One question though. What does the "Debilitating" trait do? You have it as a trait on two enemies but I cant find a description for it.
Good catch! That's a mistake on my part: the "Stun" weapon trait was originally named "Debilitating". I changed the name to make it shorter, but must have forgotten to update the Swarm profiles.
Thanks for pointing that out, and for the compliment! I'll update the rule book to use the correct term.
Thanks for sharing this game. I'm recovering from surgery and found your game perfect to play solo when laying in bed with pencil and paper. It gives me a gaming fix when I can't get to the table. Awesome game.
Hey, wanted to let you know that your games campaign is being played by the Yogscast on the Games Night channel! Not sure if that means anything to you, but it looks like a lot of fun. Great game!
